Our first impression of Robert was that he was a very knowledgeable person, not only about mold but also about so many other things that came up as we moved further into the matter.  The first thing that he did, after looking closely at the condition of our garden home, was to give us a quick lesson on mold and mold spores.  He cautioned us about the potential deeper problem of mold that we could face the more he investigated the situation.

The second thing that we learned about Robert was that he has very high standards, both personal and work.  Throughout this ordeal, he has moved forward only when he has been satisfied that every angle has been explored, every base touched, concerning not only many of the things mentioned already like association insurance but also things like inspections by environmentalists and so forth.  Whether these standards are self-enforced or company policy doesn’t matter to us so much as the principled way that Robert has gone about adhering to them.  It’s quickly evident that he takes his work seriously and that he amply demonstrates integrity with respect to these, as if they were markers of his own identity, who he is as a human being. Very remarkable.

Since my personal career of choice was education and since I served as Superintendent of Schools for 19 years during my career, I had the opportunity to work with and supervise many, many people throughout that career.  One might say that I have the ability to “read” a person’s ability even during many telephone conversations.  These are the premises on which this voluntary letter of recommendation for Robert is being based.

At all times, during our verbal interactions, Robert conducted himself in a highly professional manner and appeared to always put the interests of his customers first and foremost.  I always found him open to suggestions and recommendations while, at the same time, serving his superiors in a highly admirable manner.

One of the strongest characteristics displayed by Robert during my contact with him was his high degree of accessibility.  I always felt that I could contact Robert at any time with my concerns and questions about the progress of the project on which he was working.  One of his standard responses at the end of each of our telephone conversations was “Call me on my cell phone if you have any more questions.”  He also always kept his word when he told me he was going to be calling me back to give me a report on the project for which he was supervisor.
